About our insurance services.
We arrange insurance for boat owners . As an intermediary, we act as an underwriting agent for the insurer. This means the insurer confers upon us the authority to determine policy acceptance, premiums and terms (within agreed limits) on policies for boats within specific territorial areas. Our service includes detailing the scope and benefits of our policies and arranging your insurance cover upon your instruction. We will help you with any ongoing changes you have to make and provide emergency claims assistance service.
Where our preferred insurer is unable to assist with cover, we may look to secure terms on the wider market. When we do this we will advise you.
We are a specialist marine insurance business and can arrange cover for classes of business outside the cope of our underwriting authority as well, such as international shipping cover and marine trades cover.
